Paris Vacations
With arguably more landmarks that almost any other city in the world, Paris can be overwhelming, exciting, and spectacular. European cruises to Paris allow passengers to see another side of fascinating countries that not many get to experience. Vacations in Paris transform almost any traveler into a lover of all things French: the sidewalk cafes, the exquisite cheese sold in tiny street shops, crusty bread and rich red wines, the musical elegance of the French language, clean streets and quaint cobblestone roads that take you through tree lined streets and pleasant parks...Paris is a magical, enchanting city with plenty to see and do.
With seemingly hundreds of museums, Paris all inclusive vacation packages can be tailored to fit the needs of those wanting to obtain some cultural from this artistic city. The Louvre Museum is one of the biggest and most well known in the world. Western art, paintings from the Middles ages, sculptures from the masters, including the famed Mona Lisa, ancient Greek and Egyptian art, and Roman antiquities make up a priceless treasure trove of artifacts. The Rodin Museum showcases the work of Auguste Rodin, both indoors and outside in the gardens. The Pompidou Center isn't exactly a museum, but is worth a trip by, even just to see the outside of it. The Center is seemingly inside out, with an exposed skeleton of brightly colored tubes for plumbing, electric, etc.
Paris has one of the widest selection of hotels in the world, from hostels to Paris all inclusive resorts, apartments or luxury hotels. Whatever your budget or taste, there is an accommodation for everyone here in Paris.
Paris all inclusive vacations wouldn't be complete without a trip down the Champs- -Elysées, the long strip of fashionable stores, luxury specialty shops, and cafes. Paris is a shopper's dream, and there are plenty of top quality shoes, bags, leather goods, high end designers, trend setting fashion, and jewelry to be found among the high class arrondissements.
Those on Paris luxury vacations should also venture out to the suburbs for a glimpse of Versailles. The former home of Kings Louis XIV, XV, and XVI, as well as Marie Antoinette. The lavish palace and even more incredible gardens are so well preserved it's easy to imagine royalty residing there even today.
For an unnerving experience, venture underground to the Catacombs of Paris. Famed in literature such as Les Misérables, the catacombs are an underground resting place for many 18th century Parisians, moved there after city cemeteries were found to be the source of many diseases that swept the cities. Walking through the catacombs is eerie, thanks to the bones arranged artistically and, strangely enough, beautifully.
