Huatulco Vacations

Huatulco, Mexico is located in the state of Oaxaca. This lush, secluded vacation destination has pristine beaches, lush vegetation, brilliant azure waters, and stunning bays. Despite Huatulco all inclusive resorts and luxury hotels, the island is undeveloped and isolated compared to other top vacation spots in Mexico--and this is a very good thing.

Huatulco all inclusive vacation packages offer a wide variety of things to do. Rent a mountain bike to explore the jungle, or ride along the beaches on horseback. Go on a bay tour and admire the stunning beauty of beaches, bays, rock formations, and underwater parks. Don't miss seeing the Stone Face, Organo Bay, and the Bufadero. Santa Cruz Bay is home to the beaches of La Entrega, Santa Cruz, and Yerbabuena. It also has shopping, dining, markets, and dive shops.

Chahue Bay is a definite must-see during vacations in Huatulco. This bay has turquoise blue waters and three powdery beaches. The nearby village of La Crucecita has churches, a main plaza, and restaurants to taste the "authentic Mexico" when a break from lying on the beach is needed.

Huatulco all inclusive vacations give adrenaline junkies a chance to partake in some extreme sports. Raft down the rapids of the island's two rivers, while taking in the sights and beauty of the jungle that surrounds it. Rappell down Punta Celeste, or catch huge sailfish and tuna on the deck of a deep-sea fishing boat!

Golfing in Huatulco is ideal, with challenging courses that provide amazing views of both the bay and the sea. One of the best courses in the Mexican Pacific can be found here, located in Tangolunda Bay. Once you've completed the championship quality course, venture into town and grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants the offer delicious food and tropical drinks. Tortillas, mole, tasajo (cured beef), and of course seafood--shrimp, lobster, squid, and fish--are just a few of the items on the menu you will find here. The fresh food and delicious drinks are a reflection of the hospitality and traditions of Oaxaca's culture.

The nightlife on Huatulco vacations may not be as vibrant and frenetic as the nightlife found in Cancun or Acapulco, but that doesn't mean that there is nothing to do when the sun sets. Bars and coffee shops are full of music (from reggae to salsa), and some of the best nightclubs are in Santa Cruz, Chaque, and La Crucecita.
