Canada Vacations

Canada is an incredibly large country, touching the Atlantic, Pacific and deep into the Artic oceans. It is a study in contrasts, from rough mountain ranges to sandy beaches; bustling metropolitan cities to sparsely populated native villages.

The majority of Canada vacations are to visit Niagara Falls.  Conveniently situated between the international border of U.S. and Canada, the falls receive up to one million visitors annually. On the Canadian side, tourists can visit Queen Victoria Park, which has beautiful gardens, platforms to stand on and view the falls, underground walkways that take you behind the falls. The Skylon Tower gives unmatched views of the falls and, in the opposite direction, as far away as Toronto. Many of the best Canada all inclusive resorts are found here by Niagara Falls.
When taking a cruise, encounters with blue whales on the St. Lawrence or orcas off the coast of Vancouver Island can be one-of-a-kind experiences.  Raft down the Nahanni River, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hike through alpine trails in one of the many national parks. In the Kluane National Park, serious adventurists can hike up 4,700 feet of mountainside to the summit of the appropriately named "King's Throne". If that is too strenuous, other enjoyable activities in the park include everything from seeing wildflowers, bird and plant life, tundra, crystal clear, freezing cold glacial rivers, and--from a  safe distance--wolves and grizzly bears.

For those who enjoy learning about history and culture, Canada has plenty of both. Canada all inclusive vacations offer the chance to learn about the native background of the world's second largest country. One of the main attractions at Vancouver's Stanley Park is its collection of totem poles. The totems were made out of tall, western cedars and had multiple Northwest Native figures carved on them. Inuit art carvings, art prints, and native carvings are other examples of the rich history that can still be found throughout the country.

Canada all inclusive vacation packages aren't just for touristy sites like Niagara. In the wild east end of Canada, you can hike across ridges, sharp cliffs,  and see centuries-old rock lie exposed. The wilderness of Canada is beautiful and rugged, with freshwater fjords, tundra, ocean inlets, coastal bogs, and Atlantic fishing grounds. In Quebec, visitors to La Réserve Faunique de Matane can explore the habitat and get a glimpse of the herds of moose that roam the forest.

Vacations in Canada may not be a traditional foreign, overseas adventure, but the country is full of fresh air, beautiful sites, and plenty of experiences to make a vacation incredible.
