Disney Cruise

The Disney cruise line is designed for families and fun. With awe-inspiring ships, imaginative designs, and plenty of activities, the Disney brand is well represented among its cruise ships.

Staterooms are designed especially for families. From smaller spaces to large and luxurious suites and cabins, each room has the comfort and style that Disney is known for. There are plenty of options to choose from when deciding on accommodations during a Disney cruise package. From private verandahs with beautiful sea views, extended space rooms,  extra storage, and split bathrooms, families will find it easy to relax and enjoy their floating home away from home.

One of the best aspects of a Disney cruise is the entertainment. What else would you expect from a cruise line dedicated solely to the amusement and joy of its young guests?  From Broadway-quality musicals with children’s favorite Disney characters, meet and greets with the characters (both designated and surprise appearances), and plenty of live shows and first-run movies.

For the adults, there are nightclubs, lounges, and themed bars. Mix and mingle while listening to live music or sipping on a cocktail. Chill out in a café while sipping on an espresso and surfing the internet.  Enjoy the views from a bar on the top of the ship, or sing along with your favorite songs at a piano bar. Even though this is a Disney cruise line, that doesn’t meant that the adults can’t play too! Even many of the cheaper Disney cruise deals & specials have special facilities for the youngsters so that the adults can play!

During the day, children can enjoy Goofy’s pool, which features a four-foot deep main pool and two whirlpools.  Mickey’s pool has a water slide and splash zone, and is ideal for very young children. The Quiet Cove pool is adults only, where the splashing and exuberance are kept to a minimum and relaxation is key.

Disney’s expert counselors lead youth activities and clubs so the words “I’m bored!” are never uttered.  For infants and toddlers, Flounder’s Reef Nursery employs a variety of fun, such as cooking, drawing Disney style, and pirate training. Older children and teens can sing karaoke, dance, play games, engage in team challenges, and surf the web at an internet café. Deck parties allow kids to interact with characters and get autographs,  and Walt Disney Theater enchants childrens and adults alike with award-winning original musicals.

For those looking to keep their bodies and minds sound, Disney cruise lines have spa and fitness opportunities aplenty. The Vista Spa and Salon is an almost 11,000-square foot retreat, where hairstyling, massages, manicures and pedicures, and aerobics are all available on an all inclusive Disney cruise. Make an appointment for a makeover to find a new look, or exercise to your heart’s content on state of the art weight and cardio machines. Athletic families can visit the Wide World of Sports deck, where basketball and soccer games, or volleyball matches are always going on. Or try a friendly game of ping pong, shuffleboard, or take a few laps around the running track!

Disney Cruises are the ultimate in family togetherness and family vacations. There is simply no better cruise for kids and adults alike.
